**"In Onslaught players can expect the kind of portable X-COM experience they’ve always wanted." --148apps.com
**"AvH: Onslaught is like a tribute band for X-Com – it hits all of the same notes as the original: recruitable (and re-nameable) troops who learn as they gain experience, cagey aliens who see in the dark better than you do, bases that you build and staff, research that you direct, randomized combat maps – the whole lot." -- pockettactics.com

AvH starts with 25 heart-pounding, intense training missions. Through 25 missions, get upgraded gear and face tougher aliens. These missions will get you ready for The Onslaught where youll be responsible for world management.

When you think youre ready, you can jump right into the Onslaught.

Aliens versus Humans: THE ONSLAUGHT

You have been hired by the United Countries of Earth (UCE) to defend our planet. Your job is to build bases around the globe in order to detect alien “Teleportation Events”. Once detected, you must send team(s) of soldiers out to remove the Alien threat and recover any Alien technology.
Beware, the Aliens have superior firepower and you will need to research and manufacture better gear in order to have a chance of winning the war against them. The UCE has provided a fully functional base that will get you up and running.

The rest is up to you...

Pros and cons of Aliens versus Humans app for iPhone and iPad

Aliens versus Humans app good for

After playing 3 hours without stopping And being a huge fan of xcom (i still play it on my computer), I can say it : avh2 the onslaught is a Wonderful Xcom for mobile device. You need to get some use with the controls at first but after that, the atmosphere (gorgeous music) and the game is the closest thing I ever seen from Xcom! And I played everything that was supposed to relive the series. You guys have made an unbelievable work, waited for years by fans, and many had failed before! If i have to complain (ah...fans!), it would be just that graphics are sometimes uneven. The pixel art is great but its like some are pixelized and others smooth (I prefer old school).beside this tiny tiny detail, I think that Avh2 The Onslaught is simply the best game of the Appstore now, and clearly a work of passionate fans who succeed to bring the perfect Xcom experience since the original, on any platform.
Good like ufo amiga... But crashes when i load my onslaught game :((( Need patch plz. (And so 5*)
Great Game! Very likely The first "X-COM: Enemy Unknow or UFO Defense". I miss a bit for the "interceptor mode", bit still... Great Game!
i think its nice. seriously, the interface and the gameplay is craptastic, but they captured that xcom feeling and streets is talking, that they are working on an update including science and station stuff. so lets see, what the future brings. and like i said, i like the game. im hooked and im playing it.. keep it up
Its wonderful, Ive been waiting for this for years. I still play the original every now and then, but now I play this! Its not perfect and while theres plenty of room for improvement its 5 stars fun. Highly recommended if you liked Xcom! Note to the team: controls are not quite right, its not easy to move the yellow cursor where you want to, which is quite fundamental... Something to fix for the next version maybe? Anyway, good job, love you guys!!
This is absolutely great!!! I have waited for the UFO/X-COM games on iphone for 5 years! Please go on like that and make another part! Thanks!

Some bad moments

This game is not good, unplayable. The only reason I gave it two stars is because it is a homage to x-com.
I dont understand why this game has high reviews. Im not here to bash it! All Im going to say is dont spend your money...
Kinda okay, but those reviews are not written by non-biased fans of the original xcom. Just having a turn based grid system dosent make it like the original. I had to give up after a few minutes of complete waste of time... sorry, but if it was possible, Id want my money back.
I love X-Com, and I really wish for a good port to the iPad. This is not it. I played for about 10 minutes and then uninstalled it.
Was looking for the original or a version of it for the iPad, this falls way short both in graphics and gameplay. Its much shorter than the original and lacks almost everything that made the first game fun, its just a cheap ripoff
Seriously better than the modern re-creations in this series. This is the style and format that made the game have its fame! Now with base development, too!! Buy and support am awesome venture!
